Sebastian Baurmann is the founder, managing director and creative director of Miiqo Studios in Berlin. For more than 25 years he has been realizing internationally awarded projects at the interface of digital technologies and interactive user experiences with a focus on design and data visualization. With his years of experience, he turns cross-media projects into immersive experience and develops crossinterface solutions from design to usability, which always have a clear content vision.
Lena Thiele is an author and the artistic director at Miiqo Studios, a creative studio based in Berlin. For over 25 years, she has pioneered the development of socially relevant and internationally acclaimed immersive media formats. She also holds the professorship for Digital Narratives at the ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln. Her work sits at the intersection of storytelling, digital technologies, and art, characterized by an interdisciplinary, holistic, and systemic approach. She creates new emotional perspectives on complex issues, particularly focusing on biodiversity and environmental sustainability. By leveraging the power of art, narration, and technology, she fosters a deeper connection with nature and drives meaningful action towards environmental stewardship.
